CONCENTRATION
The Communication Science Program has three concentrations :
MEDIA AND JOURNALISM
Regarding the intricacies of journalism, including mass media and online media. The understanding learned in this concentration relates to journalistic practices, such as media content writing, media production, and discourse in the media. Writing skills and perspective sensitivity in seeing phenomena are highly valued abilities.
BROADCASTING
Delving into television and radio, this concentration is more than just about entertainment communication. Understanding and proficiency in using multimedia in communication, such as audio, visual, and animation, is one of the focal points of this concentration. The ability to capture the audience’s attention and creatively package media is an essential skill to be mastered.
MARKETING COMMUNICATION
Observing and executing advertisements is the focus of the advertising concentration. Strategic marketing communications, in ads, advertising research, and consumer behavior are some of the studies that will be deepened. Media advertising execution and situational analysis are skills sharpened in this concentration.
