Internships, Coops, and Job Training (KP) are implementations of the learning process results that universities, faculties, and/or departments can carry out and manage. Moreover, it is carried out as the requirements and or provisions of the Department. Therefore internship, Coop, and Job Training (KP) cannot replace field study and community services (KKN).
Definition
Job Training is apprenticeship lectures in work related to communication science, such as public relations agencies, advertising, TV institutions, radio institutions, and newspaper institutions. The implementation time is 2 (two) months.
Requirements
- Completing 120 credits, provided that the prerequisite courses have been taken.
- A Job Training workplace must be an institution with a field of communication work, such as advertising, public relations, printed media, electronic media, and production houses.
- Before requesting permission for Job Training, students must be prepared with a Job Training placement along with the complete address and have already conducted a survey.
- Before Job Training, students must have included Job Training courses in study plan cards (KRP).
- The prepared participants must bring an introduction letter, blank grades, and presence (blank in the Department).
- Job Training participants are supervised by 2 people: field supervisors from agencies and the Department of Communication Science. The students bear all costs during the Job Training.
- Participants submit a report signed by the supervisor and head of the agency no later than 2 weeks after the Job Training is finished.
- To find out the details of the procedures for submitting and compiling job training reports for the Department of Communication Science, students can check the handbook provided at the Department’s administration office.
- During Job Training, students must always be in contact with the Job Training supervisor appointed by the Department.
