YOGYAKARTA – The community radio of the Department of Communication Science of UPN Veteran Yogyakarta, CRAST 107.8 FM, once again won the title of Best Radio Community at the Communication Month event of Yogyakarta State University. The event was held on Sunday (1/12/2019) at the Performance Building of Yogyakarta State University (UNY).
The UNY Communication Month award event has been held for the third time. It is a form of appreciation from the Communication Science Student Association of UNY to students, communities, and student organisations in Indonesia engaged in the field of communication.
In this event, CRAST 107.8 FM also competed with campus radio communities in Indonesia such as IKOM Radio from Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta and FISIP Unsoed Radio from Universitas Jenderal Soedirman Purwokerto.
In 2018, CRAST 107.8 FM also won the title of Best Radio Community at the same event. “Through an increasingly rigorous selection process every year, CRAST 107.8 FM proves its consistency as one of the most recognised community radios, especially in Yogyakarta,” said Crast 107.8 FM Public Relations Officer Delira Kameswara in a release.
CRAST 107.8 FM Station Manager Prehapsari Julia Majid said she was very grateful for this second achievement. “We are committed to making CRAST 107.8 FM community radio the best it can be for every listener,” she added.
